WAYS TO BE A VOLUNTEER
Samantha Funding The Arts holds two major fundraisers a year where volunteers are needed:
We are making some changes here and our annual Samantha Funding The Arts Cornhole Tournament is being handed off to another local Non-Profit and Samantha Funding the Arts is looking into some other new fundraising event ideas!
Our second yearly fundraiser is held in August. Samantha Funding The Arts joins with Landon's Library & The Andrew S. Woods Scholarship Fund for the WGW Community Youth Cup Kick Off Dinner & Golf Tournament! The Kick Off Dinner is held the night before the Golf Tournament and includes a wonderful evening of Dinner, Drinks, Music, Silent Auction, Basket Raffle, Presentations, Special Guests & More. The following day the Golf Tournament is held at the Premier Thousand Acres Golf Club. The Golf tournament includes gift bag for each player, great prizes and dinner.
There's more opportunity to help at the Garrett County Schools Students Art Fair in the spring at Garrett College. Volunteers are needed to assist with the "Make & Take Art" area.
